You’ve either always hankered after a Land Rover or you haven’t. Before I bought my first I was buying the Land Rover mags’ for months and months, reading the reviews, learning about the mechanics and keeping an eye on the prices.

 

No one here will be able to talk you into buying one (only you can do that). They are good vehicles and if you buy one you buy into an institution that’s for sure! Good-luck….

I used to have an old series 2a with a 3.0l isuzu trooper engine squeezed in, it was an awsome bit of kit and I loved it to bits. Spent every penny and every bit of spare time keeping it on the road though, but would I get another.....Hell yeah!

Where would you rather be on frosty Sunday morning, tucked up in bed with the missus or laying under a landy with a spanner in you,re hand just so you can go to work on Monday.......................Mmmmmmmmm...cant make my mind up......nice warm jugs or cold spanner.Hahaha.

well, now heres the thing... my discovery hasnt broken down on me since i bought it really. definitely nothing drastic, but ive been so long without waving the spanners over it that ive got a replacement engine stripped to its component parts and been washed ready to rebuild for it just so ive got something to do!

Seriously, it sounds like what the others are telling you is right, if you want one you will get one, you will then curse it up hill and down dale, eventually sell it (regrettably) then buy another!

 

Oh, and also, you will tell all your mates how much you enjoy yours, but you will never recommend anyone to buy one!
