Haha I'm using it at the mo. Hard to describe. I got no pics. Looped end of rope through harness and up to a carabiner, small prussik through carabiner and around working end of rope, pulley under prussik and pulley attached to the looped end of rope, as you pull up the pulley is pulled up and advances the prussik.

 

Like I said hard to explain.

Jack Kenyon of Merristwood designed a simple thingy to do this . I dont know if it was ever commercially available though .

 

I think he called it the Kenyon lift but never got the patent.

 

HB's used to sell one and just called it the prussik lift I think.
