One of our tractor drivers was cutting a football field which he had done for years when the front wheels went down and rested on the sump only to find out there was an old mineshaft in the field, it must have been collapsing underneath for a long time.

 

a relative of mine was mowing a field and his back wheel fell into an undiscovered Souterrain

Only a small item but cost me £85 manged to do it twice on the same day. :thumbdown:. Only got a pic of the first could no bear my self to take a second

 

I have one just like that, I was trying to be flash and push a small tree over with the tracked chipper and a bent bar was the outcome, we dont do that anymore:laugh1:

1. an oak that was too unstable to rig, this lump was MEWP'd off and rolled down a bank wiping out a newly restored wall...oops!

2. Wet road, rushing to get on site and the biggest ditch in Essex

3....Well the customer went out and I was pushing ballistic nylon....:blushing:

 

Looks like a very moving experience to say the least:thumbup1:.
