How do you figure that then? The props come from the supplier in a stillage and get bolted to the next car on the line which then goes out off the end of the line, no matching or balancing goes on you can pull a prop of any defender and fit it to any other compatible defender without any problems.

You can even take the splined end off one prop and fit to to a shaft it never saw beforE without any problems. I keep a spare on the shelf so I can chuck it on and roll again with a minimum of fuss.

The prop flanges are aligned by a locating ring.

You can even buy aftermarket wide angle props for modified vehicles and they just bolt straight on, no balancing, no mucking about.

Interesting Treequip, but why can you get props ballanced then?

Props need to be balanced or rather re balanced if they have been knocked the faster the prop the more important this is but that's the prop itself and has nothing to do with the way that prop is fitted to the car, if the prop and flanges are ok it maters not if it's re fitted differently.
