Boring, boring, boring, here we go again.

 

My renewal from NFU has just come through.

 

£740 with 60% no claims, slight increase on last year.

 

06 plate D/C tipper with 70k on the clock - worth £6kish? (insured for £8k last year).

 

I think at 43 with a clean licence this is too much, but am I just out of touch?

 

Am I really that much of a risk?

 

Can anyone recommend an alternative broker?

 

Please, no comparison website talk (£15k quote last year from one, and the best was £190 dearer), or Direct Line (they don't insure tippers).

Try commercial vehicles direct, knocked 280 quid off mine, all in 600 holes, legal cover, windscreen, replacement vehicle, protected no claims all in
