Theres two combines waiting to go in my yard but unless you've got a big hair drier to put infront it they won't be going anyway in a hurry!

Be at least 2 weeks before they start here on the rape if it ever stops raining !

Nothing here , too wet still . Wheat laying flat in places.

Ill be surprised if they dare go on the fields here for a while, the last thing that went on had to be towed out, and that was before the latest levels of rainfall, so it would probably be silly for them to try.

I can see the combines in the yards itching to get out and started.

There is a field just ouside town that had two strips around the outside of the field to make it easier for the combine to turn around. Its been like that for about 3 weeks now and most of it is now flat. All the combines are clean and several have recently sharpened augers ready for the rape. The fields down by river by the looks of it are going have to be topped as most of it is flat and covered in silt.
