At what age would you say you're at your physical best?

Don't despair

I know one old timer (70ish) who still puts in a full day.(not climbing I hasten to add)

He seems to get younger as time passes. However that works

Has he got a painting in the attic?

I was probably at my peak around 32-45, younger than that i was either too pig headed, not physically fit enough or whatever. 46 I was past it. 47.... Clawing my way back up, inwardly knowing that its a case of fighting a losing battle against time now, but hey.....one last shot at it before slipping into old age

mate, wouldnt want to dampen your spirit but you slipped into old age ages ago!:laugh1:

Apart from some weird sh1t that's kicked off over the past few months, I'm physically fitter and stronger, with more stamina and mental strength that I've ever had before. I'm 45. Far better than I was at 20.

Second that, 45 too. Changing my diet made a big difference to coping with the job.

About 30-35. When I was that age, I could graft in the evening after a days work. Now, at 42 I laze on the sofa after a days work. Saying that, my father in law is 78 and as fit as a fiddle. He drinks red wine by the bottle, and can graft away all day.

i recon it all comes down to the type of work you do (ie office / manual/ driving) at the type of training if any you do and diet etc. i feel stronger now at 42 but not as fit as my late twenties early thirties. I have changed my fittness routines to suit as well. Absolutely adore kettlebells (thanks to you lot),even doing kettlebell classes with women now. Also having a healthy mindset also helps.
