oregon

but then some would say that, because I sell it,

that said I have no problem in supplying / sell stihl stuff too,

Stihl have pumped an awful lot of money into chain production , the latest is their comfort chain , which reduces vibration !! thoughtful eh!

its a horses for courses, thing really

so in real terms !

I'd do what your teams want especially if its cost comparable

Prefer running stihl chains where possible, seem better quality, the cutters are fractionally longer than some of the cheaper chains. The stihl chains seem to carry the oil round the bar better. Not saying the oregon is a bad chain, as I run it on saws that arent running stihl. I try to avoid the cheaper brands as I had problems with links breaking, but then it could just be the way I use the saw.

Oregon is the Cheaper option for both the Retailer and end user. But try getting comparable links from both Stihl and Oregon, you will then see the difference for yourself.

Personally after selling Stihl, Oregon, Winsor and Husqvarna chain, I will now only Stock and Sell Stihl Chain

what prices are we looking at for the stihl on the roll?
