I'm no good at Mathis but they just don't add up man.

I've worked 18 hrs a day on harvest before but that was my limit. I was starting to doze off at the wheel of the harvester.

when I was 16 on more than one week I did over 100 hours in a week painting and decorating, no slacking either, we were doing up a new retirement home that could only be inspected for opening by the council on certain dates.

Ah..

I am currently cloning myself at great expense in order to work hard enough to meet the demands of the French tax system which charges you whether you earn or not.

You are right, it must have been the full week, we just worked all through the night and caught a couple of hours here and there and then right through on the last shift, it was really exciting but I was goosed, I just remember the tax man took most of it :(

Where the hell is that 'Happy, joyful, world full of wonder..' thread, quick!

Its like that old fast show sketch with the artist; 'BLACK!! BLACKNESS EVERYWHERE!! #trashes easel off edge of beautiful forest waterfall, kicks pack-up into river# ARRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!! THE BLACKNESS COMES!! #cut to old lady, scene left# 'Oh Johnny no!, stay away from the darkness!'

Times are pretty bad but lets just knuckle down and get on with it! The light at the end of the tunnel is only a train 2 times in 10!
