Hi,

 

think this applies to an embarrassing number of products, they just aint as good as they used to be, I seem to recall the earlier McCulloghs were real beasts but then got taken over & things go down hill.

 

Friend of ours got one recently from a supermarket (oh no) & went wrong after a few minutes use (despite correct fuel) & they wouldn't honour warranty so 140 euros later he could have bought a Husky 435 or something similar.

 

shame really as what he has runs quite well now.
