Same can be said about you arb workers. You all obviously earn a fortune for doing a cushty job that some people even do for free.

 

With regards my time I work a 48 hour week. Like every other person in the country, if I choose to be industriouse and work on my weekends/downtime then thats my problem.

 

Now I saw beyond and offered help but you just lost me.

I've got 4 mates that have left tree work to become firemen and I know which I'd rather be at the moment, doing nothing all day but watching sky sports and going the gym.

With regards to the sensible replies to my genuine questions I'd like to say thanks for the input. I'm simply weighing up my options and thinking about my future. I never intended to go jumping in the deep end, i thought that was obvious and btw im not after your job!

 

I do detect a degree of envy and bad feeling here so wont post any more. If however any of you guys want to train up in other avenues do so. Its not aginst the law and its up to you how you invest your time and money. Its also a better way than attemting to shut the door to the industry because you feel undermined by the potential competition.

this thread has to be one of the most cringe-worthy and embarrassing Ive read on this site since its conception. Im astounded by some of the postings in here, from senior members in particular whove been around here for a while now.
