only problem with premaking the tea is after bot very long your flask goes black and bits start coming out with the tea. If you take everything seperate you can also take a cup of soup with you...yum

Put half a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in the flask, put it in the sinik and add a litle water. Fiz fiz fiz rinse and you have a clean flask.

Best regards Mrs Beaton

Not really a problem, the bits in ya tea. What you have to learn to do is drink the tea with your teeth clenched shut, this way the bits get sieved out.....

I carry at least one cooker in my car and make fresh tea as required.

Seeing as I have a thing about portable cookers, (I own about 7 so far) I am thinking of doing a tea making review, speed/cost etc. watch this space!

:mad1:

Proper -I have trangia for that purpose- due to skanky bosses who imagine ( unlike any other technical trade like ours eg plumber / briki / ) WE DONT NEED BREAKS !

The trangia will definatly be in the review! I bought min with money from my afterschool job in 1983, its still going strong now, so that puts it way up the list.

Problem is the new ones are made with 40% less aluminium!

How old is yours? Is it standign up to daily use/abuse. I might need in put for the review!
