As I see it, you have two options. Firstly, you bring in a Chinook or secondly, you bravely run away!

Look forward to seeing the pictures if you do do it though!

:lol::lol:

I've done some big pops in some really tight places in an around Manchester but none have ever taken a week.

Be good to see pics etc if you get it, plus like you say, if one branch will fill his garden, there's not a chance he'll want to keep all the wood, just be on guard for him to say " actually can you take it all away" on the second morning :laugh1:

Did you take a pic of the tree when you priced it? Love to see it. A whole week on a little 70 footer sounds, even with tight access and fences, like a play in the park :):thumbup1:

sounds like a great job if you get it! just finished a big chestnut, all went sweet as. over 4 boundary lines and crappy access. love the challenge and the rigging too but wish the strap on my spikes hadn't snapped!! spiking with no spikes is fun.... adds to the challenge

Really? 441 20 inch bar is gutless? Think you have got a dud one there mate. My 441 with the 20 is a beast. People have asked in the past If I have had it ported and tuned like my 020's as it rips.

Purely a stock saw that has ran like a scalded greyhound straight outta the box.

Same here Rich, had mine about 5 years and it has been an animal straight out the box. Even ran a 25" for 2 weeks felling big pops when it was my only saw.
