Kiln is loaded and cooking away merrily, but plenty of green stock remaining that can be cut to order. £12-16 a cubic foot depending on grade. About 20 tonnes to choose from.

Do you have any of this left John?

Lots of roundwood elm in the yard at the moment. Mostly Wheatley Elm - dark reddish/orange heart wood with contrasting white sap. This is a board sawn from the same batch. It's about 2ft wide:

you got any burr at the moment?

I do! A couple of second length very well burred lengths, about 7-8ft long, 18-24" diameter. Very high quality (patch, not complete) burr.

Yep. Some ideal bowl shaped burrs on it too.

I've nearly 100 tonnes of elm coming into the yard this week. All grades, from small to large, clean to burry and everything inbetween.

Prices are low, with £7 a hoppus foot at the low end for small and plain elm to up to £18 for the largest and burriest lumps. That is on the basis of a double pallet's worth (circa 80 hoppus foot).

Any quantity can be cut - double pallet to multiple lorry loads!
