crossed my ms 660 with a 6910 john deere, inertia brake handle yoke broke in 2, front handle bent, frame slightly distorted.... pride in tatters, job half done..

 

on the upside i want to know if there is anyone reading who might know how much it would be to fix, ive the saw sitting for the night to check for leakages, has anyone ever got a wrap around handle like on the us model stihls?

 

already on third beer and feeling stupid....

a collegue of mine crushed a almost new 441 one felling cricket bat willows, the hinge grabed his saw when it started to go then the trunk rolled on it, the saw was a right of as the casing had cracked arond the av mounts.

I completely smashed up my Ms360 a few weeks back... Broke the saw in two, back handle in bits. Not happy!

 

£150 it costed to repair...

 

Customer happy that I went home for spare saw and finished of the job the same day asked me to do a few extra things and add on bill and gave me a tip at the end of the day. Almost made up for my loss! Swings and carousels I suppose :-)

im heading to manchester early next month so worst comes to worst ill bring it over, the dealers are ridiculous in roi for times, i need it fixed soon, 150 stg sounds very reasonable for that, i want it as soon as possible but cant see my local lad having it inside a month judging by previous experience... thanks for the response though
