Err, how about child labour, not to mention the extortionate price that's kept inflated by the brainwashing witchcraft of the heavily pushed brand?

How they can call a phone 'smart' and 'mobile' when it needs to be charged EVERY SINGLE DAY is beyond me. I have a £10 PAYG - battery lasts 6 days, minimum, and if it breaks (the last one expired when I jumped into the sea) I pay another £10, as opposed to £400!

Apple products are just throwaway gadgets than have the human race by the balls, and I find it disturbing to watch.

Sorry, I'm in a mood today due to the prices of forestry machinery and I have a special place in my blackened heart for Apple or it's loyal followers.

Its all very well finding fault with child labour and other such things in the less developed parts of the world, but how much do we really know about these children's circumstances??

If the factory closes what happens?? do they starve??

I don't know??

I don't like taking actions (such as boycotting products) without enough information to truly know what affect that action will have and in this day and age getting facts is very, very difficult, propaganda is rife.

Child labour made this country rich over the centuries, then we criticise other countries for wishing to have our wealth. As a nation we are the biggest hypocrites, trying to tell others what is morally right or wrong, we should get our own house in order first. We all want cheap clothing, mass produced in sweat shops, but close our eyes to the conditions they work in. If we took the child labour away, bearing in mind that in many families it may only be the children earning the families income, how else would they eat? Do you really think that they would thank us for "freeing" them, only for them to starve?

Of course child labour is not right, either morally or ethically, but t is essential for their survival.

Very good points.

I have an iphone 4s now and I love it. I'm not Apple fanboy and have no experience of Macs etc. other than a guy who works for me has one.

But, the iphone is simply far better than any android phone I have ever owned / used and I have had a few of them. I found them unstable, buggy and unreliable. You would download an app and it would kill the phone or make it unstable in some way.

The thing is with iphones is that they just work. Sounds simple but it's incredible how many products dont these days. Plus the build quality is clearly excellent and not only that, they hold their value as well. Far better than an android device.

iphones are amazing! but if you are going to worry about child labour who makes them, what about everything in your house that is plastic or made in china or somewhere else, you better not buy any of that stuff anymore or put it all in the bin
