I've got a job taking down three large lime trees. There is going to be a large amount of rings to be taken away from the job. Question is is the wood worth anything apart from for log wood?

Some turners may want some. Or instrument makers, I think it was/is used for piano sound boards.

Finding a buyer would be the hard part, does dry quick when split, good firewood!

I've got 130 cubic foot of top quality lime air drying. Didn't cost much and took only a day to mill at 3 to 4 inch thickness. Carver's delight, I'm told!
