i wonder how many people in this thread who claim not to be christian have had there children baptised....or indeed got married in church? I bet there are a few:confused1:

Clebrate xmas Easter

Just wondering.

Why do you have to be a Christian to enjoy Christmas, Easter etc? :confused1: You can still enjoy the day, the people, the goodwill? Why not get married in a church? They're amazing buildings....

I don't see a problem with enjoying them and not being religious - why not

Why not just set up a group for like-minded people call it "Tree Christians" or similar, and then you can discuss your chosen topic with the sort of people you wish to be with. This is after all a discussion forum where we discuss, I think the majority so far have been respectful to one another.

Or start I thread looking for other Christians........and call it.......I dunno........something like.......any Christian on arbtalk..

I believe that muhammad ali was the best heavyweight of all time,s/r leonard the best welterweight, hagler the best middleweight. These are only my opinions, but i have evidence to back these opinions up. As said , total respect to the god fearing community but how do you convince your selves that god exists. People die every day because of religious beliefs, isnt this the opposite of any religion?

Live and let live.

As said, there are people in all faiths who interpret their faith wrong and go to extremes.

I do not believe in a god but our galaxies and space are infinite and u explainable there must be some sort of energy.

Is it best to believe that there is something great after life, meeting healthy and happy family members, friends, pets where there is no worries

Or

When your dead there's nothing.

The last comment I was asked the other day and it def made me think I would like the first option when normally I thought the second.

There must be some "energy" out there.

Or our galaxies could just be a speck of dust in the crack of a tree and we could be all insignificant.

go to church for christenings, funerals, weddings. Thats it, I am happy to respect other peoples religions and their views and i am comfortable with it.

I believe that everything happens for a reason and that you make your own fate. Surely if Skyhucks life had been planned by a greater power he could still be a JW? Purely as an example.

Ddint christmas come from the pagans anyway?
