Cannon bars, any good?

Have been looking at new bars and come across Cannon bars, they seem very expensive compared to stihls offerings and wonder if anyone has experienced them and do they justify the extra cost?

 

They look cool, and that always works for me!

Yes they are very good. When using a flat file to dress the rails you can tell that the metal is a lot harder.

 

Are they worth the money? Not sure, but if you don't mind paying then you will get arguably the best bar out there.

The Rolls Royce of bars in my opinion but as you say pricey . Used alot by the loggers in North America and Canada I know . Its like anything now -adays you gets what you pay for . If you wanna pay for a Cannon Super bar you will have the best .

No! Not worth the extra £ imo; you can buy what, 3-5 oregon bars for the same money and there's no way a cannon lasts 5 times as long. Had one, it will be my last.

Hi all, does anyone have a cannon S B? Just wondering about the tolerance of where the nose fits into the bar. On one side it is not flush with the rail & the supplier says that is normal with these….

Do they use a one size fits all nose for different gauges ?

That got me wondering so I checked mine.

It's 1.6mm and lines up both sides.

I've attached photos but they are from Mac so not everyone can open them.
