It also has a fridge but as things were tight there is no room for a table, its an eat on your lap job :)

I have been asked by several people who are interested in it if I would consider taking it into production in grp, it weighs in at just over half a ton.

A sort of gallery of it's build is here

The mounting system has been changed since the first shot to something better looking and more substantial with custom chassis brackets.

what length is it?

Short.......here's a Jimny towing one to give you an idea. They're really small.

They're mainly for sleeping in, but there's a twin hob gas stove, fridge and sink in there too.

Bloody hell... FRODO!

Mate of mine is building a demount to go on his 130 crew cab. He used to build horseboxes but he's emigrated to Oz, seems to be a common thing out there... I'll see if I can find some photos off FaceSpace...

we all have trucks for work, i bet most of us would love a campervan. I remember going to Canada in 1980 and my uncle had a demount, it made so much sense:thumbup1:

i have seen the ones for the Navara type vehicle and it looks like a sheep giving a hippo a piggy back:laugh1:

i would just like to buy the box with all the stuff in it i can just stick on the back, bolt it on and go away for the weekend without having a mortgage sitting on the driveway most of the year:thumbdown:

I understand a good one is going to still be a fair bit of money, but it just makes more sense to me.

has anyone got 1 or know of a good company that makes them.

i want to do something like the 1 in the link:thumbup1:

Custom Campers - IVECO 4x4

I know of several places but to narrow down search how much do you want to spend? (should that be how little)

Is it all seasons use in all weathers and would you want a loo/shower inside?

Tommer that Mog box is cracking!

Luton body will be too flimsy I reckon Steve, I want something that won't fall apart if I go off roading.

How much do I want to spend? Don't know, I need to see the product then work out if I think it's worth it or not?
