helmet advice for lots of hair

I had long hair since I was 16 and now I am 40 and just got it cut. Best thing I could have done to be honest. Not getting your hair caught in twigs is just so good! Still can't get used to not having to pull the ponytail out of the tshirt when I put it on though

Other than getting it cut you will just have to live with helmets not fitting, I had the same problem for long enough.

How do you keep dreads clean doing tree work... That's not a dig but I had to cut mine off about six months in to my tree surgery career as they just got full of saw dust and twigs!

A friend of mine had a poplar ring chucked on his head,he was not wearing a helmet despit continually being told to do so.. as he kept his dreads covered under a hat, they definitely broke the fall though!

Do not listen to them! Most blokes are follicaly challenged so they have not experienced long hair! What is it with the yoof of today anyway, I see many blokes who could have a full head of hair and the have their nut shaved!

The tide is on the way out on my head now, so I cannot speak knowledgeably on long hair, it go to a supplier or helmets and get their advice.

Dreads. How do they grow anyhow? Do they smell? Does it hurt your bonce sleeping on them, what does your Mom think to them?
