Things a stihl dealer will never say

"You dont have to buy the assembly, you can just buy that part."

"Oh that part costs less than the postage"

"Oh yeah these are way overpriced"

"I wouldnt pay that if I were you either"

"Oh we have had lots of these back and we dont know how to fix them quite right, I dont think you should buy one until its sorted"

"Oh yeah, stihl is totally ripping off its customers outside the US"

"We wasted alot of your money on time and parts you didnt need"

"yeah these saws are substandard"

I still think they're pants compared with the 200. Now out of interest I did use a 200 the other day that was knackered, the 201 would have been performing a lot better than that. I wonder if that accounts for some people loving them. The other thing without naming names is that Im not convinced saws are being sent back to dealers. I sub to a company that has now got all 201Ts and they've come from one of the dealers that has said he hasn't had any problems. Well in fairness to him he doesnt know about the problems with these saws.

Just my tuppence worth

Worth putting a 12inch bar on instead of a 14 and the full chisel chain, although that does tend to knacker trousers more easily.
