My second go with the POV. I am not going to win any awards for the quality of the vid , or the tree work for that matter. In my defense I had a shitty cold last week and was all aches and pains before i started, so I could'nt wait to get out of that tree. There was a phone line running of the corner of the house hence the lowering of some of the smaller bits and I know I had cut through the hinge on one of the sections..and I nipped the saw.. Warts 'n all...

nice vid,Is it easier using slings then attcahing them to the lowering rope?i used to do that but now i just use the lowering rope and big biner attached to the branch what are the pro's and cons?

Nice video Tom, on your red lowering pulley have you got the strap choked through the eye on the pulley? Have a look at 6.30 mins.

Nice vid. I'd be a tad worried tying the bullrope so close to the end, though. I've seen them come off before.
