Yes , there's afew loose around country , one has been loose 2 years. near me it came to my yard look at the Harris I have ..

 

havnt seen one in years loads of buzzards round my way though nice to see their number growing for a long time there didnt seem to any in this area or perhaps i was just looking in the wrong places

The Harris shouldn't be loose really az it's from USA , so it's illegal to let one go / or not make a effort to catch it .... & I think certain gov bodies will / do either catch them up or shoot them to stop any cross breeding with other hawks , which I think has happened :( !!!!

 

unfortunately it has happened in multiple cases. usually from yobo's who think the are experts and dont understand weight control, manning etc.
