Sorry to gloat, but its been another cracker of a day. Hard frost and the ground is like concrete. -3ºC, sunny and a slight easterly, same again tomorrow. Changing on Thursday, snow !!

Got some serious flooding on our land today.

 

A culvert under the railway can't cope and has backed up as far as the eye can see.

 

(How do you post photos, as I have a few that may help explaining).

 

Had to dig out chest waders so I could go and clear another drain grate.

 

That was at work.....

 

At home, field opposite is under water, never been like that since 'Thunder Thursday' a few years ago.

 

And there looks like no let up for the rain for another 48hrs here...

Was forecast for around 6°C but I was in short sleeves and still too hot. Working on a 60°+ slope didn't help.
