If you talking about those lads the coast guard are looking for, I have no idea. Possibly drunk??? Poor lads and I feel for their families. Can't imagine being told the search for a relative has turned into a recovery operation.

Rough night with much debris from uncared roadside trees covered in Ivy. Now been sleeting.

Rough night with much debris from uncared roadside trees covered in Ivy. Now been sleeting.

Still, bright and damp on the floor. Rained last night and the night before, had a bit of wind. There's some trees down but the only one reported on the local news, was sited in a park. And at some point in the tree's recent life, some nerk had seen fit to lay a concrete & tarmac footpath right up against the trunk.

 

The scene: Reporter standing next to windblown tree, with no damage to path, as all the roots on that side had either been severed or removed.
