Still, bright and damp on the floor. Rained last night and the night before, had a bit of wind. There's some trees down but the only one reported on the local news, was sited in a park. And at some point in the tree's recent life, some nerk had seen fit to lay a concrete & tarmac footpath right up against the trunk.

 

The scene: Reporter standing next to windblown tree, with no damage to path, as all the roots on that side had either been severed or removed.

Yep. When you get out of the wind, it's just chilly. But step out of shelter and it's gloves time.

Wind has increased but nowt to write home about, (though evidently worthy of mention on Arbtalk). Been drizzling or raining now for two days. I'm in my element. But it'll be grotty felling tomorrow if it keeps on this way.
