So sorry to hear your news Jon, it's3:30 am am up as we have high winds and hail lashing the windows front and back and now a thunderstorm to go with it, whats next!

4 a.m. and the rain and wind on the Velux windows is enough to wake you from the deepest (wine aided) sleep. Just waiting for it to get light to clear a windblown Lawson from yesterday evening.

About 17cm to 35cm of snow in our area, locally and an hour or two out from here in the low elevations.

 

Snow ... and today freezing rain on top of it.

 

It's not unusual to have a winter here with no snow accumulating. So this is a lot of snow for the north Oregon area.

Rained a bit last night but the wind it did howl and blow. But now it's just damp, calm and bright.
