HI BEAR high winds here too not good week sound like wet this week thanks jon

Just got back from a mates farm. Poor sod had just lost 2 combines, 3 tractors, 2 balers and wrappers and 2 telehandlers to a spontaneous combustion of a muck heap at the back of his machinery barn. The winds must have fanned it and it found the sleepers and kerosene and deisel tanks and that was it. Was going to be getting some extra coinage for helping him with his harvest this week as well.

The heavens opened whilst were there watching it burned was like something out a movie.

Well, supposed to persist it down this weekend but never happened. Also supposed to rain today but all we got was a little drizzle. Fire is turned down low and I'm sat here in shorts and singlet...........again. Snow is melting rapidly off the mountains too.

Well the forecast was rain and sine 18:00 yesterday, it's done nothing but... Oh sunny Cumbria - well they do call it the Lake District. Yes, I know only one has lake in its title. (Unless you happen to have been born, bred and live in Coniston. In which case, you'd refer to the 'Water' as lake.)
