Blowing hard. Lightening. New shed doing it's job and machinery protected. The gusts are brutal but not as strong as forecasts; could be local shelter effect from high ground to the west. Suspect I'll be out with saw and tractor soon enough.

Windy in Wigan. My fence has blown down at home. I'm on a paperwork day and filling log bags up prior to going out later tonight to a gig so the wind ain't a problem for me today other than controlling the draw on the chimney.

Gutted :( had to cancel today due to really bad winds and rain :( must admit havent canceled many days this year but for safety its a no go! Also was supposed to have a new lad starting today
