It's been nice all morning...

Chucking down here in Essex. Finished what should have been a four day job yesterday in 3 days. Lawn was a bit muddy when we left but would have been a whole lot worse if we had been doing the clean-up today. Going to spend the afternoon cleaning saws and kit before getting it covered in crap in the woods tomorrow.

Well the wind is pretty fierce now, and the rain is lashing it down horizontally. We even have thunder and lightning. The most enormous lightning bolt just flashed a few minutes ago and it was so loud my head nearly hit the ceiling when I jumped.

Going to be lots of trees down tonight. Thank god I don't do call outs although I am quite sure I will get a call from my workshop landlord tomorrow to remove fallen trees from around all his various workshops

wild in the highlands, just spent 2 hours strapping down next doors workshop roof, i knew the ibcs would come in handy but the mrs wouldn't believe me

Feels and sounds like the roof is going to blow off!! 80mph according to the weather forcast.
