Have you seen me trying to roll out of bed in a morning :001_tongue:

 

Seriously, I can't get out of bed, I roll out. Then half an hour later I can bend down and touch my toes no problem :confused1:

I agree with peter, a change of working practice can do wonders. I have busted my self up a few times through extra curricular activities and also picked up a few work related aches/strains.

 

I was having problems with my right shoulder for no apparent reason, probably a combination of sleeping in a different position, strain through work and the afore mentioned activities. I had osteopathic treatment after the techniques (cleanhands-paidmore described) for self healing had little or no effect. I decided to change climbing style from a klemheist and trad. body thrust technique to climbing on a VT. The shoulder pains started to decrease and slowly but surely the Range of Movement (ROM) increased as did strength. Now there is a few niggles after a hard day but IME it goes to show working smart is just as important if not more than working hard...

has any 1 ever pulled a muscle in their shoulder blade? if so how long does it take to heel?

 

It won't-get to yr physio ( u shld have one) she'll sort t out-better than trying to work through it :( K

Waste of money, just get youre missus to walk up n down ya back with nothing on. You,ll be amazed at how quick you forget about you,re injury.:scared1:So long as she,s under twenty stone.

i went to a sports therapist last week. she spent an hour working my back, primarily my left side round the scapula area....it really has done wonders, ive had no aches this week and will be making it a regular appointment from now on.

My brother {a bricklayer} swears by it once a month regular as clockwork. But being a tight git that I am I was wondering if you could put the bill through the books?
