ive been delivering to a local 'american themed' pub, ive been amazed how quickly this pub get through a load, we deliver to several other pubs & no-one comes close to this guys two loads per week!!!!! today i mentioned we should try bigger logs before an area manager notices how much he is spending, he replied that he would prefer wetter logs!!!!!! :confused1:

i then suggested that maybe as was a monday night & the pub was empty would he not be better to not light the fire :001_huh:!!!!!

after chatting for a few mins he tells me he his manager has asked about how much he has spent on firewood & isnt impressed !!!

do i keep supplying good quality logs & make the most of it before he is told no more......

or supply some wetter logs which may last a couple more days??

I'd normally say, sell the guy what he wants, but firewood is a fickle game, if people see YOUR wet logs in his pub, they might not buy from you.
