I'll let you know when it gets cold!

Merino base layer will go on first when the temp really plummets.

You can get battery powered heated socks if you really suffer from cold feet. I've never needed them, but I've heard they are worth the money.

Showa Thermos are a good choice, Google them, loads of suppliers. Worth having a few pairs to rotate so you can always put toasty ones on.

Yve Clark (Clark Cut and Climb, ad on the right) sells some excellent winter gloves I can't remember the name of.

Must check my winter kit out, need to be ready when it arrives....

HI all ref heated socks primrose london has some for £24.95 they where £39.95 i need to get a pair I'm a big south softy:lol: all the best jon

Under Armour or Helly Hansen base layer , Fleece/Fleece Gilet with my Stein Jacket on top. Personally found the Helly Hansen better value.

As for feet , a thin pair of socks followed by a good quality pair of socks of your choice. I've found TEKO to be the best if not a little pricey.

Don't wear gloves , its not that cold in the Hilux.

My two pence worth.
