Same as before only if i get a fine will put another fiver on a load of logs in January. Any more stupid laws we may as well run on red, ditch the tax, mot and insurance. :001_smile:

It’s not what you would call a major change and the only people it will affect are those with a UK national operators licence.

Can some one fill me in on what VOSA are doing on the 5th dec please :confused1:

Nothing is the short answer but the GOVERNMENT are making changes to some legislation that is enforced by VOSA.

The legislation in question is about operator licencing for small trailers not currently covered by an operator licence. It is only of concern IF you are a licence holder, f you don’t have an operator licence you don’t need to worry, if you have a UK national or international licence you will need to include small trailers in your licence.

Downsize to a diesel Fiat Panda 4x4/diesel Suzuki Jimny/diesel VW Caddy SWB 4-Motion with a small lightweight towed unit for log deliveries. Alternative is find a site with much passing traffic and sell direct at weekends.

OL site application is advertised in the local papers and people have been known to complain.
