Right save me some suspense, whos got one close to me to try??????

Me love you long time....... (lincs)

Dude, just buy one and get it done. It's honestly and truly the best piece of kit I've ever bought.

The only mistake I think I've made is getting a hand ascender. A croll would be just as functional, smaller and cheaper.

Can anyone recommend a good (ie quick and easy) basal tie-off?

I have seen some in other threads that use more gear than I have in my rigging bag!

I'm not particularly bothered about rescue function, just something basic that can be untied easily after supporting my graceful, featherlight almost balletic ascent.

Thanks.

take 2 walks around the tree, under the up rope, 3-4 half hitches around the up rope leaving a longish bight, clip a biner in the bight, gate-out, to the two wraps, VIOLA! done, solid as shite, and you can still be lowered out if need be.:thumbup1:

I noticed on one of the vid's posted that the pantin is worn alot higher on the ankle than in some others.

What sort of advantage dose this have?

I am new to srt & have found that placing the pantin central to my mid sole requires me to move my foot downward to allow rope feed in the early stages of assent.

Two different points of foot set up alignment, just wondering before I give it a hit & miss go.
