Been climbing on the wrench for a little while and lovin it.

Heres a couple of rec climbs with some friends from down south NSW.

I have enjoyed reading this thread, the videos are of great interest to me and i am currently thinking of purchasing a wrench aka ZK-1!!

 

before I buy one? It would be nice to see a video of limb walking/climbing in the ends of the branches focusing on the movement back from the end of the branch, as it seems from what I have seen you will have to set up a pulley advantage system to have good control on your return

 

Any info would be welcome.

I've not set up a pulley advantage system to return from a branch walk, I just pull myself in pulling in the slack as I go though that's how I do it using double rope anyway. I gotta try setting a pulley for a long limb walk.

Is a new RW about to come out? Whats the crack with the removable pin? After this weeks big Beech I really fancy the access advantages of SRT, whilst still being able to go straight to guns on DDRT if I want to.

treestuff sell a removable pin that comes with a smaller 'slic' pin too. makes changing from ddrt to srt and back a matter of seconds, really useful like you say if you still want to access srt then work doubled.
