forget about the tree work, American's are awesome.........

"No chap's again guys"

"I don't care the trees on the ground"

"I want you to say hi to Dave" p.s. (Hi Dave)

Dadio, I wouldn't use most of your tecniques, not because of my inferior i.q. , just because I think mine work better for me...... that said I do find your videos entertaining and they do bring a smile to my face :001_smile:

Good question.. I have asked myself many times.. Here's the best I can come up with....

I have posted many videos demonstrating skill and knowledge level far beyond theirs, and even beyond their level of understanding what is possible.. That makes some people very uncomfortable, because it contradicts the story they tell themselves about how great they are.. Rather than humbling themselves, letting go of their stories, and trying to learn something by asking.. "how did you do that"?, their egos get very defensive and attack, at first by calling the work "lucky or reckless". When video after video keeps showing what is possible, it becomes clear that calling it lucky won't work any more, they have nothing left to do but take personal shots at me, and make snide comments about the work.

See now i was almost giving you some credit and then you go and insult everyone and act like the only super tree cutter there has ever been. If you just stayed quiet this thread could have gone to your favour. Now i see why your videos get so much bad press, its not actually the video itself its just your "i am better than everyone else" attitude

Classic american stereotype:sneaky2:

My last post on a dadio thread for sure....

IMO Its irelivent wheather a member only replies to their own threads or wheather he/she posts replies to other peoples.

If Im wrong thou and it has been known :blushing::laugh1: I suggest that only members that have gone out of their way to produce vids, edit and post them for the world to pick to bits be the only ones with the right to be negative about other peoples efforts

I like to see others work and wheather I agree with what they say or their choice of music I think its important that people arnt put off by the fear of being set apon.

Maybe thats the problem maybe only people with high levels of confidence or think skin bother.

Awful spelling but the right sentiment, if someone has the guts to post photos or videos of their work good or bad I applaud them.

I personally feel that after i simply ask a question as to how you can calculate the reaction and factors of such a task i get a response from "a fellow tree surgeon" who appears to respond in a manor that i feel is dam right rude and patronising .

It is this attitude that leaves me wondering if i want to view another of his posts and certainly do not feel there will be a time that i wish to comment or ask questions .

I have met several very humble , quiet and exceptional tree surgeons , some are old school and some are have a far more modern take on tree work . These are tradesmen that i know i could ask a question or seek advice from and know that no matter how much they " are not attracted to my methods" they would comment and pass judgment on the methods and skills that im wishing to use , and its these comments that i respect no matter what their outcome is .

If you wish to comment in that maner that you do then expect to recieve the same back simples
