Terrible news, condolences to his family and friends.

Its so sad when you hear of someone so young who is making a positive contribution to himself and society and they get taken away, when there are some that need to go never even get a cold, life just seems unfair sometimes R.I.P

I think a lot of it is the immediacy of the internet. Time was I wouldn’t have heard about an accident a few miles away and here we are discussing an accident at one end of the country with the world and his wife.

Andy

The irony of the internet is that while it connects people around the world, it also isolates individual users.

Re bad news - Maybe the industry needs to take stock and introduce a probation period where newly qualified trainees have to work under the constant supervision of experienced treeworkers?

Terrible news. One of my friends from schoool recently cut his arm and chest badly when he was topping out an ash. The saw was thrown back when the top went as soon as he touched the back cut. He could so easily have cut his neck if his work positioning had been differnt.

Expect the unexpected and be very carefull friends.

My condolences to his fanily, freinds and workmates.
