Have you tried honey / dried fruit on top of your porridge. Seems to give the dish an extra va va va voom and makes it taste a little less bland.:001_cool:

If you don't fully cook the porriage it allows you to eat more with equal volume as it slowly expands in you gut. Works for me as i stopped eating it for the same issue your having until this was shown to me

I always found that good old fashioned beans on toast keeps you filled up till 11 ish which is normally when you can eat again!! Maybe I'm just a tubby little git!!!:001_tongue:

mate of mine who went for SAS selction swears by them. he would munch one whilst arrying 50lb up pen ye fan in wales.Keep him going like the duracell bunny.:001_smile:

You are more than likely suffering low iron, more common in the female variety because of how your body works.

 

Might be good advise to have a quick check done at the GP's. :001_smile:

 

JUST AWAY TP POST THAT. yeah prob low iron. maybe not enough protein if muscles feel weak.

Top advice! This worked a treat. Slightly undercooked it and was sorted til lunch. Cheers!

I'd go for a bowl of porridge with honey and bananas from my first breakfast at 0615. Then a bacon and cheese roll and a brew at 0830, sarnies at 1100 and more at 1400. In between I have fruit/nuts/cereal bars. If you've got a high metabolism like me, you need to eat little but often (every 2 - 3 hours). I then have a good dinner and a bite before I get my head down. I'm still quite a scrawny barsteward too!
