It will be somewhere around the anti vibration areas. You will have to have a really good look at we're the engine block type side meets with the handles. Should fit somewhere around there.

 

Your right in it fit between the handles and engine, try on the outside tho, to cover a screw that connects handles with engine.

That's so weird because I was sure that was the hole it came from, but I already put another on in there that looked a better fit! Either way I've got one spare...

 

The one I've put in there is squished between the two cases, but the one in the picture looks way too shallow to do anything in terms of anti-vibing.

 

Odd.

 

I guess it's not mission critical in terms of saw performance anyway.

Hayter mower done, had a ms200 in not the t model, clean, service. On inspection it had a small crack in bottom casing but was told not to worry as it had been there some time.

 

An 020t with the symptoms of the 200t with dying on throttle, cleaned carb, adjusted screws, runs like a dream.

 

Both got a sharpen free of charge and will be back with customer tonight.

 

Also had tome to sort out the electric windows on my discovery.

 

A very productive morning, now it's time to sit back and enjoy a pimms.

I have this...friend...who took apart a 254xp so as to replace the piston.

 

I...I mean my friend is putting the saw back together, but I...he has a mystery rubber plug with no home.

 

What a fool, eh?

 

Where in heck does my friend's rubber plug fit?

 

I promise to pass the information on, obviously!

Don't know if the 254 has it, but I'm sure one of my huskies has a plug a bit like that in the top fins of the barrel. No idea what it was for though.

 

Other than that, I think maybe my 181 had something similar in a hole under the carb (not the grommet where the fuel line comes through though).

It seems to stick out of the top of the top fin. Guess the top cover rests on it...
