You're correct, I am mistaken, the 210 is the same crank as the 230 & 250, the 211 shares the 171/181 crank

210, 230 and 250 share the same crank but the rod on the 210 is 6mm shorter.

 

210 short crank 40mm bore

230 long crank 40mm bore

250 long crank 42.5mm bore

Thats one range of saws I am clued up on and actually like working on much to everyone elses disgust lol :thumbup:

Been working on a 372XP, not running right, lumpy and no idle, found the coil was mullered - it is the one on the left hand side.

The oiler pinion was missing the end of the rotors meaning it didn't work, the sprung loaded pin on the chain brake was missing, the chain break plastic spring retainer was broken off and the route cause of the poor running - a small crack in the carb pumping menbrane!

Don't know anything about these cranks but as I understood it, the 171 and 181 are the same saw. The only difference being, the 181's carb, which ups the power a little.

The 171 also has a 1.1 gauge bar and chain as opposed to the 1.3 on the 181. Pretty sure there are other differences too.

Ford transit, front wheel drive over the pit.

 

Some moron at ford decided that it would be a great idea to put the clutch slave cylinder inside the gearbox, meaning complete removal to replace it..........

 

Still no saws on the bench either....

 

Haha think theres 3 torx 30 securing to bell housing around the shaft from recolation.

Depends on model. This was three 8mm bolts. But still have to remove the whole thing first, aswell as the front wheels, both drive shafts, linkage, wires, hoses, mounts, brake calipers. And the partridge in the pear tree......
