Looking at tose pics I'm with gardenkit.

 

That flywheel looks terrible. And it will do some damage to you if it comes apart. Better safe than sorry so scrap it. Or sell the parts off it (other than flywheel)

 

Thanks ALL - for sound advice and good offers - looks like i found a coil last night - I don't do much of this so ideally want to see it through - so I guess I'm on the look out for a flywheel.

Ok mike. The problem is from mine and gardenkits point of view is if its someone else's saw. We couldn't send it back like that without sorting the flywheel or a very stern warning to the "customer" first.

 

You could try the coil out with this flywheel but head the warnings over it coming apart. Prolonged use will cause serious damage.

 

Sorry no help on parts from my end either.

looks good spud

put the 266 back together to try out tomorrow nite

046 is back in one bit

stripper a hl75 down for new crank seals

started cleaning the 372 up

put 2 new shelfs in the garage

and started to finish my arbor trolly

so all in all a busy afternoon and nite for me

now going to bed

:lol:

 

Yeah Martin but I see no sign of my crankcase splitter on the list, may have to dig out the invoicing pad:lol:

 

The cake was tops though:thumbup:
