Noisy Eucalyptus

Bit strange this one...

 

I'd just finished reducing a euc earlier on when the client came back. When we were having a chat she told me that "You can hear the water going up the trunk." I though aye right, but had a listen and there was definitely a rushing sound like water coming from the trunk.

 

When I first priced the job, she did say that there was a high water table where she lived and that was one of the reasons she likes the tree so much.

 

What's that all about? :confused1:

I'll bet you any amount of cash you can think of that there was the sound of rushing water coming from that tree. Personally, I reckon there must be a water source running around the root plate.

 

Sounds like a water pipe thats got kinkid bu the roots,or is leaking,that could do it.:biggrin:
