We worked for a woman a couple of years back that had the worst luck with every tradesman she had work for her. Sparkys and Chippies had basically done the shoddiest jobs. We couldn't work it out untill she said that she always pays everyone in full BEFORE they've even started the job!!!

Back on subject, Cheque when finished always works for me!!!

Usually the preferred method for us is Post/Hand deliver an invoice.

Don't know if anyone else has done it but one method I have tried is to make use of my PayPal account to request payment by Email. The customer can use their Paypal account, credit or debit card to transfer funds straight to my account. Fast, Simple and Secure! As i say - only tried it once on a moderate amount but it worked ok!

When the Apple I phone was still brand new I had a chap do just that for a firewood delivery.

He stood on his drive and thumbed away while I tipped off.

I think it was novety factor because he was happy to add the paypal fee to the transaction.

I checked my email for conformation with my humble

N95.

Do I need to get out more?

Andy
