Firewood Price

Sorry you probably get this all the time. I've got someone who wants to buy some firewood from me and as I don't normally sell it I was hoping someone could give me a rough idea of how much to charge. It's all split and dried beech and ash, I guess the amount they would want is about a builders dumpy bag full, which I presume is around about 1m3? Any help is really appreciated.

A buliders bag can be anything from .5 to .75 M3. It may take 2 of them to make 1m3. This makes a big difference to what you charge.

they affect the price alot ,if you live in london you pay big time compared to south wales ,it goes up and down aswell ,some people are so tight around here ,people think who do you think you are charging 100 plus for a small bag of just WOOD ??

thats wild money for around here ,i will only get 55 for a builders bag of dry hard wood and that is including delivery ,but 2 bags not one whitch is £110 deliverd

 

Well in that case I would leave my wood in the barn, prices will rise with the cost of gas etc. No point in being a busy fool.
