I'm asking the question as i've been speaking to a lad in the pub tonight who's working/living over here, that told me that he was "signed up" by the "UDF" In Northern Ireland when he was a boy of fifteen, it shocked me to the core what this lad was telling me, just wonder who you had met and what they had to say.

A man I met on a chainsaw course was wearing an ankle-tag. He told us why at break-time:

He'd hurt someone badly in a burglary gone wrong, his dad gave him in as it was an old person trying to defend his home etc. As soon as he was out again he found his dad and shot him, the first day out of prison.

Fast forward a few years and here I am, in a wood with this guy who's been handed a chainsaw to aquire some skills to help him fit back into society after his holidays at Her majesties expense... I made sure to not annoy him.

Two of the Nine High Jacker's from 911 lived 2 miles from my office in Venice, FL. USA. They kept a low profile and learned to fly from a local flying service in the same town. One of my dealers was questioned by the FBI since he remembered them visiting his shop before the attack. Since they were living in town for some time it was entirely possible that I could have met them in public?. They were trained killers on a path of destruction ready willing and able to do what they did. IMO they were not "Freedom Fighters". They were Terrorist plain and simple. What they accomplished in the short term only will in time lead to their over all demise. God Bless America and all of it's allies willing to defend and protect it's land and it people from this pox upon the free world.

elg, you seem to miss the point imo. Though I may or may not agree with acts of "terrorism" the people you refer to were willing to give their life for what they believed, what they knew to be right. I understand this is not what you believe, but to other people that do, they truely are freedom fighters.

Some of the Pakistani lads I went to school with used to boast about firing ak47's rpg's and the weapons training they had in there summer holidays back in Pakistan ,well before 911 though, we just thought they were making it up looking back on it they were probably telling the truth! Last saw Faisal working in dixons so I guess he never got the call.
