Hi all,

Van insurance just came in............and its gone up AGAIN:sneaky2: even though I have not claimed a grubby dime !!!! It seems that every year it notches up another £120 !!! I have a Toyota hilux 2.8 diesel crew cab (Import), cant get it insured by the usual bandits coz of the import status, tried some shyster from a google search an they wanted £990 !!!!!!!! I'm currently with NFU an they have qouted me £665 for renewal this year, it greives me to accept so has anyone got any ideas of alternative companies before I grudgingly say yes............................

Cheers,

Mark

Same here Mark (see my Transit ins. thread).

Direct Line gave me a great quote, until they found out my Transit tipper was, erm, a tipper. Worth a try.

LV refused to give me a quote because my vehicle was 'too high performance'.

Try Adrian flux

These were always the usual suspects for modded, non original sports and kit cars - Hopefully they will take a logical take on your vehicle.

My house insurance went up from £290 to £640, usual tactic - cheap year one and doubles year two - went on go compare - back to £280:thumbup:

You could but ask CVD - Commercial Vehicles Direct. They beat Adrian Flux for my Navara recently.
