Hi all,

 

Has anybody put a 24'' bar on there 441?? And does it perform well? I'm running a 20'' but wanted to go bigger.

HI T L S yes mate im running a 20 ins bar and my 660 is 25 and one with the heated one is a 3ft bar if you need to run a 25 bar all the time get a 660 all the best jon :thumbup:

It should be fine in terms of power and the oiler should cope also. You can run an even larger bar if you really needed but it if so it would be advisable to upgrade to the high output oiler and use skip sequence chain. Do you have the small factory felling spike or the large dual ones? might be eating up some of your cutting length already.

Was hoping it was gutsy enough to run a 24 for some very big oak I'm going to do! Can't afford a bigger saw at the moment!!!

 

If you steepen your filing angle and keep the depth gauges high,the 441 would probably alright.
