I can only apologise about this; I had to bring in minimum order of 100 for the import tax to keep the price at £380 delivered. Now at £410.

Another thing: it was almost a done deal that Dolmars' full range was coming back to the UK; this may yet happen - depends on fiscal health of uk import agent, but Dolmar are apparently wanting to do it. Perhaps my constant verbal abuse to the Makita rep paid off!

No apology required! I have a good friend who does a lot of importing so know the associated headaches!

Good to hear Dolmar coming back to the UK. I love the Makita DCS7901 and would (and do) recommend it to anyone.

the 261 is a bit of a plodder and the 346 is a ripper. I bought the 261 because its reliable, unfortunately you cant say that about the husky.

Absolute nonsense. Both are quality, reliable machines.

i'll sing the praises for the 261, mine has outlasted 2 Makitas and also the 20% reduction in fuel is no sales gimmick as when working alongside a 346 i am willing the 261 to run out so I can join the man on the 346 who is having a smoke.

Saving a gallon of fuel everytime the man with the 346 using five gallons adds up over a year and you can taunt him in the pub when you are drinking your savings!
