Stolen saws from the truck

Skyhuck, your not being rude and I am stating the obvious for a simple fact that out of Hundreds of post sooner or later Members have to learn from their mistakes. In the real world additional precautions like leaving someone posted untill all kit is brought to the job site and never left unattended are critical when protecting your kit. Call it real world common sence.

Saws are the first thing off the truck and the last thing on.

We never leave them unattended, the second you do they are gone, Ive learnt from experience that the scum are everywhere.

A lot of the time looking out of the window, next door.

Sounds like you will be in the market for your own insurance coverage for your kit.

Of course I have insurance! When freelancing you are insured under employers liability but your kits not! If I claim my premiums go up and I have to pay the excess, is it worth claiming for one saw?
